Everything Electric Sydney 2026 - Business Electrification Forum

Reduce energy costs. Attract EV customers. Build your fleet transition plan.

Friday 18 September 2026
Sydney Olympic Park

Businesses are facing more decisions about energy, EV charging and electric vehicles, but understanding the available technologies, costs and implementation options can be difficult and time-consuming.

Held as part of Everything Electric Sydney’s dedicated B2B Professionals Day, the Business Electrification Forum brings together experts, providers, government representatives and industry partners to help businesses understand their options and take practical next steps.

Across three focused sessions, you will hear expert guidance, explore real-world case studies and have the opportunity to ask questions relevant to your own business, property or fleet.

The Forum is delivered by ivygo, Sustainable Hosting and ROEV, with JET Charge as Main Forum Sponsor. Representatives from the NSW Government will participate in all three sessions, sharing information about available programs, incentives and support for businesses.

THREE PRACTICAL SESSIONS

Business Electrification and Energy Savings

10:30 am–12:00 pm | Hosted by Felicity Stevens from Sustainable Hosting

Understand where your business may be using the most energy and which upgrades are likely to deliver the greatest value.

Explore solar, batteries, energy management, hot water, heating, cooling and other electrification opportunities. Hear from the NSW Government about battery incentives and other support available to help businesses reduce their energy costs.

Questions covered will include:

  • Where is my business using the most energy?

  • Which upgrades are likely to deliver the greatest savings?

  • Is solar or battery storage commercially viable for my site?

  • Which projects should we prioritise first?

  • Can improvements be implemented in stages?

EV Charging for Businesses

1:00–2:30 pm | Hosted by Julie Perrissel from ivygo

Find out whether EV charging is relevant to your customers, employees, property or venue, and what a suitable solution could look like.

Learn about charger types, installation costs, site requirements, access, payment and ongoing management. Experts from JET Charge, ivygo and the NSW Government will share practical guidance to help businesses identify and implement the right charging solution.

Questions covered will include:

  • Does my business need EV charging now?

  • What type and speed of charger should we install?

  • What should we expect to pay?

  • Should charging be free or paid?

  • Can charging help attract customers or increase dwell time?

  • Who manages the chargers after installation?

Fleet Electrification

3:00–4:30 pm | Hosted by Robert Dietz from ROEV

Learn how to build a practical fleet transition plan, from selecting the right vehicles for an initial trial to planning charging, workplace policies and energy management as your fleet grows.

Hear directly from organisations already electrifying their fleets and learn from their real-world experience. The NSW Government will also provide an update on the latest support and grant opportunities available to businesses transitioning their fleets.

Questions covered will include:

  • Which vehicles and routes should we trial first?

  • Can available electric vehicles meet our operational needs?

  • Where and when should fleet vehicles charge?

  • What workplace policies will we need?

  • How can we manage multiple vehicles charging at once?

  • How can we scale the transition without overinvesting?

WHY ATTEND?

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Understand the available technologies, costs and finance pathways
