Everything Everywhere All At Dance

Welcome to our upcoming event, Everything, Everywhere, All at Dance, where the dance floor is truly utilized as a microcosm of life, and where the Contact Improv, Fusion, Ecstatic Dance and sex/kink positive communities can all play in the same space.

The day kicks off with six hours of immersive somatic-based workshops led by a variety of experienced practitioners. These workshops offer a unique opportunity to engage with your body, mind, and spirit in deep and meaningful ways.  Creating connections with others and new pathways to play/explore on the dance floor together for the evening.

Join us for a full day of playful expression, in-depth explorations, and community-building as you indulge in your discovery process and uncover new pathways on the dance floor together.

From 8-11pm, we’ll have a free-flowing dance, exploring the merging of both Fusion and Contact dance. DJ Maya Light will be on the decks for this edition, starting off the first hour of music in your stereotypical Fusion fashion – fading out every song to mark the end of a dance, switching partners, then fading in a new track at the start of a new dance.

And the last half of the dance will be fluid, with seamless transitions between songs.

You can either join us for the entire day, or for part of it -- the workshops or the free-form dance!

Tickets will be available at the door for $5 over each tiered ticket price for workshops, evening dance or both. Venmo, PayPal or cash accepted.

Tiered Pricing: To honor the vast difference of financial resources among us, our workshop and dance prices are tiered. We ask that you pay what is appropriate for your circumstances and financial resources. Below are considerations to help you decide on the appropriate tier.  We also want to be as inclusive as we can for BIPOC and LGBTQ and are aware of the financial impact of oppression. Please reach out to the eeaadance@gmail.com for a discount code if you feel your finances have been impacted by your race or sexual orientation.

Consider purchasing at the higher tiers if you:

• Can comfortably meet your basic needs
• Are employed full-time
• Have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money
• Travel recreationally
• Have access to family money and resources in times of need
• Work part-time by choice
• Own the home you live in
• Have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education (or gender and racial privilege, class background, etc.)

Consider purchasing at the lower tiers if you:

• Have difficulty covering basic expenses
• Are supporting children or have other dependents
• Have significant debt
• Have medical expenses not covered by insurance
• Are an elder with limited financial support
• Are an unpaid community organizer
• Have unstable housing and/or limited access to reliable transportation
• Have not taken a vacation or time off due to the financial burden
