Event description

Join Swinburne University of Technology’s final year students in the Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Criminology, in partnership with the ACT Policing branch of the Australian Federal Police (AFP), in exploring innovations in policing family and sexual violence.

Following a brief panel conversation, attendees are invited to enjoy canapés and beverages as they visit student-led activations on the future of policing gendered violence.

Panellists include:

  • Detective Inspector Kylie Lawson, Officer in Charge of Family Violence (ACT Policing)
  • Detective Acting Inspector Amy Lindner, Sexual Assault (Police) Review (ACT Policing)
  • Dr Rachael Burgin (Senior Lecturer of Criminology, Swinburne Law School and CEO, Rape and Sexual Assault Research and Advocacy)
