EVM Grow 2025 - Connect, Learn, Share

EVM Grow provides an opportunity for Victoria’s Environmental Volunteer Managers and Leaders (EVMs) to connect, learn from each other and share successes and opportunities.

This event is designed to spark “a-ha” moments, initiate bold conversations and build a shared story for the future. You’ll walk away energised, connected and ready to create change.

The program includes;

 Welcome to Country

We’re honoured to begin with Uncle Bill Nicholson Jnr., who will Welcome us to Country with a Smoking Ceremony. His stories will ground us in culture and place, setting the tone for a day of connection.

Unlearning How We Think About the Future

Our Keynote Speaker, Reanna Browne, an award-winning futurist, will challenge how we think about the future and inspire fresh perspectives on the choices we make today.

Legacy in Every Story

Dr Rosemary Joiner, a strategic engagement leader, will explore how storytelling reveals the true impact of environmental volunteering. She’ll guide you to reflect and shape your own story.

The Power of Purpose: How Volunteering Fuels Mattering

Sarah Wilson, a strategic partnerships director, will share her world-first research on how volunteering builds a sense of mattering. She’ll explain why this feeling is central to wellbeing, motivation and community connection.

Inspiring panel discussion

Three visionary voices, Graham Ross, Kyoko Imazu and Sam Russell, will join Conversation Architect Geoff Brown to share innovative, real-world practices that spark lasting change.

Capturing the moment

Throughout the day, Debbie Wood, our talented graphic recorder, will bring key ideas to life with live illustration. Her work will create a lasting legacy for our community of practice.
