EVolocity Auckland Regional Finals 2024

Saturday 19th October 2024 at RNZAF Airforce Base Auckland, Whenuapai

Gates Open to Teams at 7:00am, Racing Begins at 10:30am

Back Up Date - There is no official back up day for this event, however if we are forced to cancel due to weather, Auckland teams will be welcome to join us in Rotorua on the 22nd October to race against teams from the Waikato, BOP & Rotorua.

This is an active Airforce Base and security is highly important, therefore everyone MUST register in advance to be able to attend.

Every October, EVolocity students from across New Zealand get together to showcase their vehicle designs and compete on the track against other schools and clubs within their region at our annual Regional Final event series.

And now, it's your turn, Auckland! 

Join us for an electrifying and action-packed day on October 19th, featuring:

• drag racing
• gymkhana/slalom
• efficiency and endurance challenges
• 'just for fun’ racing experiences.

Special awards will also recognise achievements in innovation, engineering excellence, sustainability, and overall team/vehicle theme!

Bring your whānau and friends along for the ultimate electric vehicle race day in Auckland.

Entry is free, offering a great opportunity to check out our programme, cheer on local rangatahi, and see if you want to join the EVolocity competition for 2025.

It's a day of innovation, excitement, and fun, where students come together to showcase their talent, learn from each other, and race towards a brighter, sustainable future.

Entry is via Gate 7 on the corner of Punga and Karaka Road, as labeled in the below map. Gate volunteers and RNZAF staff will greet you at the gate, you must be registered and associated with an EVolocity team to be let in.
