EVolocity Build Day 2 - Rotorua
Event description
EVolocity Build Days are an opportunity for EVolocity teams to gain access to a well-equipped workshop space and utilise expert knowledge to get your electric vehicle underway, and get the most out of your build. Whether you're yet to begin your design, or looking to supercharge your vehicle for race day, there's plenty to gain at Build Day.
WHAT WE WILL COVER
- Help you with assembling work for your vehicle
- Welding assistance
- Materials, steering, transmission
- Wiring your motor and controller
- Trouble shooting and problem solving
BRING ALONG WITH YOU
Your design, prototype or beginning of your actual vehicle, materials and components important for your vehicle build. Please bring boots or footwear appropriate for the workshop environment.
Please bring a drink bottle and packed lunch.
This event is optional for EVolocity students - please register your attendance.
Venue
Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, Mokoia Drive, Rotorua.
Enter through Gate 1 off Mokoia Drive (marked with yellow star), drive down to Auto Workshop (circled red) and enter where marked with yellow arrows. You can drop your vehicles and find free parking anywhere nearby.
