WHAT WE WILL COVER
- Dive into the world of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) in this hands-on workshop designed specifically for EVolocity students.
- Learn the fundamentals of CAD software and its applications in various industries.
- Learn basic CAD design using Fusion 360 and how to export your design for 3D printing. Fusion 360 is free to schools so you will be able to use the program in your own time.
- Explore the exciting realm of 3D modeling and bring your ideas to life on the digital canvas. Apply your skills through practical exercises to design and create your projects.
BRING ALONG WITH YOU
Any sketches, designs, or prototypes that you may want to draw electronically. Remember to bring your drink bottle and snacks.
BEFORE YOU COME
You will need an account with Fusion 360. Fusion360 is free for personal use. Follow the instructions for Fusion 360 Personal here. You will need to create an account using a personal email address (not a school one!) Get in touch if you have any issues!

Venue
The workshop is being held in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering computer lab (called CAE) on the 2nd level in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Wing building. To help people find the right place, we’ll put up some temporary signs at the main entrances of the building and inside to direct people.Â
