Ewe Management for Optimal Performance - Peake / Jabuk

Learn about managing your ewe nutrition for optimal performance, including score conditioning, with Deb Scammell of Talking Livestock.

This interactive workshop will focus on some of the key principles of managing your sheep’s nutritional requirements throughout a production year, whilst maintaining soil cover and preventing soil erosion. The day will cover:
- Meeting the needs of the ewe through pregnancy and lactation
- Ewe health management
- Decision making points for confinement feeding and managing the autumn feed gap
- Feed budgeting

The workshop will take place outdoors, so please ensure you bring adequate sun protection and wear suitable shoes.

The day includes morning tea and lunch.

The full cost of this workshop is $250 which has been heavily reduced thanks to support of event sponsors.
