Connect Through Breath is a Fortnightly Community Circle held in Coolum & Warana.

Location: Exalto Holistic Hub
3/35 Premier Cct, Warana QLD 4575

Men, Women and Students - Come and join us for our Monthly Circles of Connection, Breath and Movement. As we come together and connect, sit in circle, coming home to our roots, opening our hearts, connecting to the breath, dropping into stillness, cultivating deeper connection with ourselves, each other and having FUN!

Our highest value at CTB is JOY.

Each month we explore a different topic and welcome in a guest facilitator to share a 40min explorative workshop with us. This is safe space of connection, networking, sharing innate wisdom, expression and to cultivate deeper states of stillness, presence and safety inside ourself to then share with the world.

------------

Our Guest Facilitator is Sunny Coast Local - Rachel Adele.
Expressive Arts Therapist, Breathwork & Sound facilitator.

With several years training & experience in multiple modalities, she’s worked with people experiencing homelessness, children/youth with disabilities & special needs, as well as women & men seeking passion, purpose and connection to self & community. Her path to self-love & healing makes her a strong advocate for self-care! Filling your vessel with love & devotion through self-expression & play !

Rachel has overcome crippling depression & anxiety through Arts Therapy, Movement & Meditation practices. By tapping into expressive, embodied arts, breathwork & sound healing, she has and continues to manage physical health challenges including chronic pain & fatigue whilst still living a joyful and fulfilling life.

Expressive Arts Therapy is a multi-modal psychotherapeutic practice tapping into dynamic & engaging methods of creative communication that best serve the uniqueness of each person in each moment. Your preferred & most familiar method? Sometimes...! At other times you’re challenged to lean into something a little more uncomfortable, to look beyond your own smoke screen. That’s where the magic is!

She has worked in the Health and Fitness Industry for the past 8 years and has studied various tools and modalities in alternative and holistic practices. Throughout her own self love journey; having experienced Chronic Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Binge Eating and Sexual Trauma it was meditation and breathwork that was the catalyst for her in her healing. She is extremely passionate about sharing the message of Self Love by weaving together the different modalities she has studied and practiced over the last 10 years to create empowering experiences for all of her clients. By combining movement, breathwork and healing her unique style of facilitation and mentoring allows anyone who works with her to experience a safe and supported environment to start to cultivate a deeper connection of trust within their own bodies, create an environment for healing to take place and return to love. IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

Health Conditions for the Guided Breathwork Journey:

Contra-Indications of Breathwork Please read the next section VERY thoroughly.

Breathwork is an incredibly powerful modality that creates both physiological and energetic shifts, RAPIDLY. Therefore, for safety purposes, I do not allow persons with the following conditions to participate without customising their experience.

If you have any of the following contraindications, please let Sarhan know.

Physical Contraindications

●Cardiovascular issues

●Glaucoma

●High blood pressure

●Epilepsy

●Detached Retina

●History of strokes or seizures

●Aneurysm or family history of aneurysm. (Burst blood vessels in the brain).

●Blood thinning medication

●Pregnancy or possible pregnancy

●Asthma Mental Contraindications

●Substance dependence & addiction (Deep breathwork journeys are not always appropriate for those who are still addicted to a substance, as it tends to raise suppressed or repressed material for processing. However, if you’re currently in recovery, this can be extremely healing, and help you discover the deeper patterns that gave rise to this addiction. (Grof, 1985: 267 – 268).

●Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or psychosis

●Hospitalisation for emotional crises in the last 10 years (Participant must get therapist’s approval to participate before you register).

●Psychological conditions and diagnoses, which preclude safe emotional release.

If you’re unsure about health conditions, please consult and gain permission from your doctor before progressing with participating in the Breathwork Journey.

Please know that Sarhan can adjust the breathwork for you to still attend and experience the monthly circle :)

Much love

Sarhan Louise x
