Exaudi: Christmas(ish)
Ring out the year with a feast of music to inspire reflection and celebration. The centrepiece of this year's concert is Ariel Ramirez's extraordinary Argentinian folk mass, Misa Criolla, which sets a Spanish translation of the Latin mass to different regional styles of Argentinian folk music, complete with vibrant instrumental accompaniment. Hear this alongside selections from Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols, and some gems of contemporary sacred and secular music, performed by Exaudi and guest singers from Young Voices of Melbourne.
Sunday 3rd December 8pm at the Leonardian Centre, St Leonard's College, South Road, Brighton East.
