Join us at Shambles Brewery on Friday 21 August, 7:00–9:00 pm, as four of Tasmania's finest breweries go head-to-head in ExBEERimental Science 2026: The Brewer's Gauntlet.
This National Science Week we've challenged Welcome Swallow Brewery, Du Cane Brewing, Communion Brewing Co. and Spotty Dog Brewers to take one aspect of beer sensory science and push it to the absolute limit.
Whether it's an intense flavour explosion, an unforgettable mouthfeel, or a visually striking brew, these beers are guaranteed to challenge your expectations.
Taste each experimental beer alongside the brewers themselves as we explore the science behind their creations. Hear how they developed their ideas, overcame brewing challenges, and stretched the boundaries of what's possible in beer.
