Excel Basics – Doing More

In this introductory Excel workshop, module 2, you will:

• Increase your knowledge and understanding of Excel
• Explore the most common functions for mathematical operations and dates
• Understand data formats, methods for selecting, moving and copying data without breaking the spreadsheet!
• Learn good practices for good data such as using “absolute cell references” and avoiding “constants”
• Learn how to present your data to make it easier to read, understand and extract information

Pre-Requisites:

• Basic knowledge and experience using a computer and a mouse
• Some basic knowledge of mathematical operations
• Completion of module 1, Excel Basics – Getting Started, or equivalent
