Excel: Intermediate

This course builds on the basics by focusing on building charts to help you visualize your data. Along the way, you will learn additional formulas used for financial investments such as loan payments and amortization schedules. You will also learn to analyze large sets of data using Excel’s powerful pivot table feature.

• Convert your raw data into powerful charts such as pie charts, column charts, and line graphs.
• Calculate any loan payment given the principle, rate, and loan term.
• Conduct simple data mining using Excel’s Pivot Table.

Course assignments and examples include visualizing data using several chart types, creating a personal loan calculator, and identifying trends in sales data.

The class is divided into 2 sessions; it will meet on Monday, April 29 and Monday, May 6 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Projects are assigned after each session to give learners the chance to apply and build on the skills learned in class. The cost of the course is $99 per person.
