Event description

This is a great course for learners with little or no previous experience with Microsoft Excel. You will start with the basics. But by the time you are done, you will have learned the following helpful skills.

  • Use Excel’s powerful library of formulas to automate business calculations.
  • Format your spreadsheets so they are easy to read and interpret.
  • Work with tables of data. Sort, filter, and group your data to find patterns in the data.

Course assignments and examples include creating a flexible personal budget workbook, making a simple employee time sheet, and creating a simple purchase order.

The class is divided into 2 sessions; it will meet on Monday, April 15 and Monday, April 22 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Projects are assigned after each session to give learners the chance to apply and build on the skills learned in class. The cost of the course is $99 per person.
