Exclusive NPA Event - Private Pre-screening of "Uncharitable" documentary

Price FREE – $35 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

If you were captivated by Dan Pallotta's TED Talk exposing the double standard shaping our flawed approach to charities and overheads, then this is a must-see event for you! Join us for an exclusive pre-screening of the compelling "UnCharitable" documentary on Thursday 2nd May.

"UnCharitable" promises to challenge your perspective on giving, pushing back against societal expectations and financial barriers that stifle charitable impact. Led by the visionary Dan Pallotta, this film builds upon his influential work, sparking essential dialogues about the future of charitable giving.

With thought-provoking insights delivered to provoke action, "UnCharitable" delves into the historical trajectory of charity, exposes the flaws of the current model, and proposes a paradigm shift by suggesting treating charity more akin to a business.

We will be joined by representatives of the Charity Consortium Steering Committee, the group behind a critically important campaign urging Australian charities to talk differently about overheads.

The Committee needs NFP Leaders nationally to support this initiative.

You can find out more by visiting www.reframeoverhead.org and check out the Pay What it Takes Guide below, to hear how you can support this campaign.

Movie snacks will be served for you to enjoy during the documentary screening. Secure your tickets now, as availability is limited.

We hope you can join us in exploring the transformative potential of reimagining charity's role in society.
