Excursion to SERCUL (South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare) in Beckenham

Please note that there is limited space at the SERCUL venue: siblings who are not participants in this year group range, are NOT able to be accommodated.

Bushtucker
Get hands-on with a range of local native plants to learn about growth, features and traditional uses; whether it is for medicine, tools or food.
Learn about the Noongar seasons and how the traditional landowners used the various plants at different times of the year.
Mozzie wise
Learn about mosquitoes, their life cycle, and their role in the food chain
Learn where they breed and how to stop them breeding at home and how to protect yourself from mosquitoes.
Cost $20 per student
