Exhibition - In the Blue by Paula Hadabora

What does “In the Blue” mean to you?

Is it a beautiful morning by the sea? Is it a hot lazy summers day watching the clouds drift by? Or is it watching the rain fall outside your window? Does the colour blue bring peace to your thoughts or does it conjure up thoughts of sadness.

The inspiration for my paintings represents the feelings, and images that I feel when I’m “in the blue.”

About the Artist:

Originally from the Manawatu, I lived in the UK for 15 years, then settled in Napier with my husband and 2 children since 2002, where I trained and work as a Nutritionist and Naturopath.

I have always loved art particularly sketching, I studied art at high school, but my love of painting has developed over the last couple of years. I am currently exploring different styles, subjects and images that I enjoy painting from the feelings that I interpret from them.
