Daisy Chain is a group exhibition undertaken by the 2022 intake of Jam Factory’s highly respected Associate Program. Located in Adelaide, this program seeks to teach and develop the skills of emerging artists and designers in the fields of ceramics, glass, furniture and metal/jewellery.

Daisy Chains' goal is to capitalise on the unique opportunity of the Jam Factory's world-renowned associate programs. Weaving in the quality of the resources available to the associates and the dialogue that occurs by bringing together such diverse and innovative designers from across Australia. Resulting in a collaborative learning environment and a mutual exchange of techniques and ideas across disciplines.

Instead of what we feel to be a traditional reciprocal pairing that limits the scope of the project to two people and two mediums. Our proposed pairs form a ‘daisy chain’, with each responding to the work of another. These pairings led to a series of discussions and demonstrations, learning more about each other’s practice and creating a cross-pollination of ideas. Allowing each associate the chance to explore new forms and ways of working or adapt to contemporary themes in their work that will have a lasting impact on their practice moving forward.
