Meliorism: Daring to Care - Art Auction Soiree

Price $85 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

In support of The Carers Foundation Australia, this art exhibition will raise money and expand the reach of the vital work this organisation undertakes.

Held in Dayboro’s delightfully charming The Churn Room art space, ‘Meliorism’ will showcase artists who submitted work that speaks to the theme, Daring to Care.

Local resident and Unsung Heroes fundraiser, Joan Wilson-Jones, dares to care!

Joan is participating in the 2024 Unsung Heroes fundraising campaign in support of The Carers Foundation Australia. All monies raised from the exhibition will go towards the establishment of a dedicated 24/7 Wellbeing and Education Centre where family carers from across Australia will be able to access support services and much needed respite.

Exhibition opens Thursday 1st August, concluding on 31st August. You are invited to visit, view and/or purchase the artworks as often as you wish Thursdays - Sundays between 10am and 2pm.

The exhibition will culminate in a Soiree on Saturday 31st August with an Art Auction of donated works. Tickets include a glass of bubbles on arrival, plus canapes and entertainment.

Numbers are strictly limited, so ensure you book yours today so that you don't miss out!
