This workshop will explore the different designs and pattern of Afghan embroidery and take inspiration from the hundreds of interpretations on display in the Engine Room at Canberra Glassworks. Participants will learn how to fabricate a small individual mosaic with glass pieces, known to mosaic artists as tesserae and explore andamento, the flow and movement of glass in a mosaic work.
