Event description

You are invited to our next gallery exhibition opening, STADIUMKRAFT, a solo exhibition of new work by Michael Carney. 

Michael Carney’s practice extends across painting, ceramics, digital and immersive experiences, and installation. A prolific polymath, Carney is interested in representing fictional spaces, drawing from film stills and video games. His exhibition for ACG will be a new body of paintings and ceramic objects, concerning post-apocalyptic sporting venues, haunting and deserted. The exhibition will be installed in an elaborate central structure – pulling work off the walls and into a strange, museological display.

Exhibition dates: Tuesday 8 April - Saturday 17 May

Also opening on the same night, is student exhibition Paint, held in the ground floor foyer of our Teaching + Studios Building.
