Exhibition Opening | Paste 'Em Up: Territory Poster Art from the 70s-90s
Description
Join us to celebrate the opening of our new exhibition Paste 'Em Up: Territory Poster Art from the 70s-90s.
In the 1970s, a group of Sydney university students took fine art screen-printing techniques from the galleries to the streets. When Do-It-Yourself postering arrived in Northern Australia, a new visual language—striking, earthy and totally of the Territory—was born. Follow this journey through Library & Archives NT’s new exhibition: Paste ’Em Up: Territory Poster Art from the 70s-90s.
