When Mindset Work Isn't Enough

The Expansion Breathwork Circle is a monthly 2.5-hour conscious connected breathwork workshop in Sydney, combining therapeutic breathing techniques and body-based practices that create space for more ease, joy and presence to emerge.

We spend so much time responding, achieving, analysing and getting on with life that we can gradually lose contact with what is happening underneath it all. This workshop invites you to slow down, turn your attention inward and notice what is already here.

When life leaves us overloaded and running on empty, the breath is often the first thing to contract. Whether you’re feeling stressed or disconnected, looking for greater clarity and energy, or simply curious to know yourself more deeply, Expansion Breathwork offers a supportive environment to breathe freely, reconnect with yourself and live more intentionally.

Sessions are guided in a clear, structured and choice-led way that honours your individual experience and capacity. There is no particular state you need to achieve, and no two breathwork experiences are exactly the same. You are encouraged to listen to your body and participate at your own pace. No previous breathwork experience is needed.

Numbers are limited to 16 participants, allowing for personal guidance and support throughout the workshop.

What is Expansion Breathwork?

Every breath invites you to feel more alive, more present, more you.

Developed by Mark Moon, an Executive Committee member of the Australian Breathwork Association, Expansion Breathwork is an integrative approach that brings together therapeutic breathing practices, bioenergetic and somatic alignment, and intentional self-inquiry.

Rather than chasing an altered state or forcing a particular outcome, the practice invites you to become more aware of how you organise yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, and what becomes possible when you create more space for expansion to emerge naturally.

Breathwork can create powerful experiences, but the experience itself isn’t the transformation. Expansion Breathwork is an ongoing inquiry into how we meet ourselves and our lives, bringing greater awareness and choice to what becomes possible.

The goal isn’t to become a perfectly healed human. It’s to become more available for life.

Why Come to Expansion Breathwork?

People come for many different reasons. You might want to:

• Release accumulated physical tension and stress
• Quieten a busy mind and reconnect with your body
• Meet emotions or patterns that can be difficult to access through thinking alone
• Restore energy, vitality and a greater sense of aliveness
• Develop greater self-awareness and a different relationship with stress
• Deepen an existing breathwork, meditation or personal development practice
• Simply make space to stop, breathe and listen to yourself

Each session is an opportunity to meet yourself where you are now, while exploring how to live life well, long term. Come once to experience it, or return each month as part of an ongoing practice of awareness, connection and unfolding. Over time, consistency builds nervous system capacity, and life tends to feel more open, expansive and joyful.

Before Booking

Expansion Breathwork includes active breathing and somatic practices and may not be appropriate for everyone. If you have questions about participating or are unsure whether the workshop is suitable for you, please contact Mark before booking. Where appropriate, practices can be adapted to support individual needs and capacity.
