Expansion of the Queer Heart: A 5-Hour Ritual

This event is a love-letter to all of those within the Queer Community.

We know that our community loves to party, to play, to express ourselves. But where do we go for our healing?

Queerness is our superpower — our unique way to relate to all of creation, our tether to love, expansion and expression. The queer experience is different for everyone, yet we are unified in our complex journeys of self-actualisation. This includes dismantling internalised homophobia, rewriting our psyches, and creating a new story separate from the heteronormative script we were raised to follow.

Expansion of the Queer Heart is an opportunity for queer folk to safely experience a connection to spirituality and ritual within a community setting. My deepest intention is for us to feel supported and held by each other as we alchemise the grief and beauty of our queerness into love.

This 5-hour ritual will take place in Hurstbridge VIC (Wurundjeri Country), out in nature, beneath the pine trees and around a Sacred Fire.

Together we will:
- Drink Rose Tea – the highest frequency flower – to support us in softening into the beauty of our hearts.
- Move through guided somatic and reflective practices that cultivate a deeper connection between your heart and body.
- Be held in ritual spaciousness to explore your inner world, while being embraced by queer community in the outer world.
- Close with a Cacao Somatic Journey, dropping deeper into embodied magic and collective heart-expansion.
- Share snacks, stories, and unstructured time by the fire to integrate, land, and simply be together.

We are more powerful, resilient, and whole when we heal together.

This event is open to anyone who identifies as queer — regardless of gender, body, relationship status, or how “queer” you feel. If reading this sparks something inside you, this is for you.

Facilitated by Jaime Lee Willoughby (they/them): Ceremonialist, Somatic Sex Educator, Devotional Bodyworker, and Wellness Practitioner devoted to embodied wellness, integration, and expansion within the LGBTQ+ community. Jaime Lee bridges the Queer and Spiritual communities with care, reverence, and embodied presence.

Spaces are intentionally kept small to create intimacy and safety. Booking early is encouraged.
