Want to learn and see what secrets nature holds along the River? Join us on a Nature Walk along the Riverbank
Karrawirra Pari (Red gum forest river) and be guided by prominent nature guide and bird expert, Phil Barron, to help us discover more about this magnificent wonderland.
You’ll then be invited to attend a Sacred Water Ceremony by the river, held by an eminent Aboriginal Elder, Uncle Ivan Tiwu Copley, OAM.
To finish the day, we invite you to share in on a picnic lunch. Bring binoculars and a picnic plate to share. Donations to support the speakers are welcome.
An event jointly presented by a collective of Torrens River groups: Upper River Torrens Landcare Group (URTLG), Mid Torrens Catchment Group (MTCG), Central Hills Landcare Network and others from the river catchment.
