Experiences of Survival: Oxi Day Commemoration
Event description
On Oxi Day, Greece courageously responded with a defiant 'Oxi' (No) to an ultimatum from Mussolini's Italy, marking the beginning of Greece's resistance against Axis forces during World War II. The Greek and Jewish communities stood united, facing adversities together during these challenging times. Oxi Day commemorates this emblematic moment of bravery and unity. Join us in honouring the spirit and sacrifice of both communities.
Please join us on Thursday 26 October at 6:30 pm in commemoration of our survivors.
