This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Young children and their carers share in the joy of music as they learn to sing beautiful songs from around the world and experiment with movement, percussion and musical play. With an emphasis on real instruments, finding our voices and group connection, Miriam looks forward to hosting another term of songs, movement and fun!

Miriam Lieberman is a mum, a teacher and folk/world music singer songwriter / performer who has studied traditional music and dance in West Africa, traditional singing in India, jazz and classical guitar. She has facilitated vocal workshops and choirs in schools, festivals and community centres around Australia and leads a band of her own at major festivals and events around Australia.

“45 minutes with Miriam and her beautiful music is a complete joy. She has opened my ears to music from around the globe. My rambunctious toddler hums the tunes all week and always looks forward to the next class. “ - Jo Dunlop. Bondi.
