EXPLORE WORKSHOP: Body-first connection with Kaine Sultan-Babij
Event description
At the culmination of his EXPLORE Residency, Kaine-Sultan Babij leads a workshop exploring bodily connection to country and place.
Inviting participants to explore a grounded, body-first approach to movement, drawing inspiration from arid landscapes and the sensations of land beneath us. Through guided improvisation, breathwork, and floor-based sequences, we’ll explore how the body can respond to texture, space, stillness, and repetition. Participants will be encouraged to listen deeply to their physical impulses and to cultivate movement that emerges from sensation rather than shape.
