This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Explore the picturesque Cowra Japanese gardens and be amazed by the intrinsic craftsmanship.

There is something truly spectacular about autumn, when nature turns on an incredible display of colour and beauty. An extraordinary place to appreciate this phenomenon is the Cowra Japanese Gardens and Cultural Centre.

Classified by the National Trust as ‘a place of significant cultural, architectural and historic significance’, the Cowra Japanese Garden covers five hectares, making it the largest Japanese garden in the southern hemisphere.

We visited these picturesque gardens in spring, and now it is time to experience their beauty in autumn (or ‘Aki’ in Japanese).

After a leisurely stroll through the gardens, you will have plenty of time to grab a bite to eat from the café, explore the cultural centre or purchase a unique souvenir of your trip from the gift shop.
