Event description

Explore the legendary Iandra Castle and see what it means to be a knight.

Did you know that Australia has its very own castle? Iandra Castle is a large heritage-listed homestead just outside Greenethorpe, in the Weddin Shire, NSW. The property was added to the NSW State Heritage Register on 18 February 2005.

Built between 1880 and 1910, the property (also known as The Castle and Mount Oriel Homestead) is a former Methodist Boys home and now sits on working farmland.

Iandra Castle hosts limited open houses throughout the year, providing a fantastic opportunity to explore the beautiful homestead and surrounding buildings and gardens. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to explore this stunning property!

The tour will include a scheduled lunch stop in Young on the way home.
