Exploring & Connecting with the Root Chakra through Yoga & Creative Expressions

Join wellness coach Ana Flavia (www.kumali.org) on a grounding and empowering journey.

A mindful pause to gather in a safe and relax atmosphere and explore our sense of belonging with reference to our environment and our ancestors.

These 3 hours will involve meditation followed by gently yin yoga and pranayama (breath) allowing you to connect with your root chakra and release any stored negative energy.

Finally the opportunity to express your unique process in a creative way.

Why is the root chakra relevant to us today?

Collectively we are currently going through a large disconnection from the earth, from each other and from our physical body losing the sense of belonging towards this reality, feeling depleted, unmotivated and withdrawn.

We are constantly receiving information, living within our head in a constant cycle of reacting to our environment. Fear of the unknown and of losing our attachment to what we know.

Grounding in the material world is necessary to life in the present and if one is to move upward toward full spiritual realisation.

This is an invitation to reflect about your relation with the earth, with your ancestral roots and your sense of belonging in whatever way this resonates with you.

Everyone is welcome, no previous yoga or art experience required.
