Exploring Bioscience Innovation Series: Scaling Mint’s Cleantech

BioTechNZ is delighted to partner with the Institute for Innovation in Biotechnology (IIB) and the University of Auckland’s Bioscience Enterprises to present our event series: Exploring Bioscience Innovation.

Join our first event and hear Dr Will Barker, founder and CEO of Mint Innovation discuss his experience in commercialising new technologies, securing intellectual property, raising capital and building high-performance teams.

Mint Innovation recently raised $60m in Series C funding and aims to help consumers and countries reduce their carbon footprint. Mint’s vision is to become the world’s leading provider of circular green metals. Dr Barker will share insights into the next steps of Mint Innovation’s deep tech journey.

Date: Friday 9 June

Time: 4.30pm - 6.30pm (Drinks and canapés will be served prior to the 5.00 pm presentation)

Location: Reception Lounge, School of Biological Sciences, University of Auckland, Thomas Building, 3A Symonds Street, Auckland. The university is well serviced by bus routes and car parking is available.
