Event description

Hailing from the UK, Tim is passionate about walking alongside disadvantaged and marginalised communities to see them flourish. A champion of asset-based community development approaches, Tim is driven to see whole communities thrive from the inside out.

Tim brings over 30 years experience with master degree in Community Education. Tim spent nearly two decades as Chief Executive of Worth Unlimited and has lived for 20 years in an estate in east Birmingham practising asset-based, neighbourhood-led community work. He leads Curating Connections consultancy training, coaching and consulting on asset based community development, co-founded the Change Makers leadership initiative to equip local leaders for grassroots transformation and is a Principle Associate of Loconomy working on economic justice

Tim and his wife, Ria, have been foster carers for 21 years and have two daughters and a dog. In his downtime, Tim enjoys cycling, tennis, squash and - painfully - being an England cricket and Fulham football club supporter!
