FAQs
- Do I need meditation experience?
No. The workshop suits complete beginners as well as people with meditation or Monroe experience. You're guided through every exercise.
- Is this the same as Gateway Voyage?
Exploring Consciousness is based on the first two days of the Gateway Voyage program. It's a shorter Outreach workshop and a practical entry point before any longer Monroe residential program.
- Will I have an Out-Of-Body experience?
We don't guarantee that. The focus is on learning to reach and explore expanded states of awareness. Experiences vary from person to person. The Thorn Insitute does teach the out of body process, but not as part of this Monroe Institute workshop.
- What's included in the price?
Tickets cover the two-day guided workshop, use of airbeds and headphones, lunch and refreshments on both days. You also receive a Blanket to take home, and a disposable sleeping mask (feel free to bring your own). Also included is an Exploring Consciousness Workbook, and a Take-Home Audio Exercise.
- What should I bring?
You're welcome to bring your own eye mask or blanket if you prefer. Please note: personal headphones can't be used, because the workshop uses RF Audio (not Bluetooth).
- What kind of people attend these events?
People from all walks of life, and different experience levels — including people who are in touch with their inner guidance, intuition, dreamworld or spirituality, and those who are completely new to all of this and just attending as a plus-one.
