Event description

This interactive event brings the marine world of the Kāpiti Coast to life through film, discussion, art and immersive storytelling. Learn about local marine ecosystems and biodiversity, take part in a panel discussion on sustainable marine management, and be inspired by seaweed art and 360-degree immersive experiences.

5.30-6.15pm Virtual Dive Experience

6.30-7.00pm Movie Screening 'Seaweed, A Love Story'

7.00-7.50pm Panel Discussion and audience Q&A

Mingle with panelists and artists after the Q&A.

The event finishes at 8.30pm.


ART by the OCEAN, for the OCEAN - purchase a piece of art and support marine conservation. Nicole Miller's seaweed artworks are available for purchase on the night with all profits supporting Explore Your Coast. 

Ocean-inspired artworks from other artists will be on display and available for purchase at the event.
