My vision of beginning the learning center began in 2022 when I was brainstorming with a few of my colleagues on how to create a space for mental health professionals to share their wisdom and earn money at the same time! This journey slowly started with colleagues offering trainings and now has grown into a variety of trainings from a variety of amazing people that want to share their knowledge with the community! Here's a little bit about me. I am the founder and co-owner of Invigorate Life Counseling. We are heart led and have an eclectic group of therapists who offer a variety of mental health services to the community. I have more than 17 years of experience in healing complex trauma with individuals and families. I look at issues and patterns through a trauma-informed lens and have a passion for utilizing therapies such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), AIR Network, somatically informed practices, yoga movement, and the attachment theory. I draw on this experience to assist my clients and families with the trauma healing process but also to mentor the Invigorate team with an emphasis on encouragement and collaboration so they can facilitate change and healing with their clients.

As Invigorate’s Clinical Leader, I have successfully mentored and developed many emerging therapists. I primarily use self-as-therapist and an open and direct communication to mentor and support therapists entering the field for the first time. I am a Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor for MFT, LPC, and LPCC licensure boards and provide regular ongoing individual and group supervision for post-graduates.
