Exploring Orthodoxy 2025 is a day to explore Orthodox Christian spirituality during
the 1700th Anniversary of the Nicene Creed

Presented by:

The Good Shepherd Orthodox Church
All onsite in the Religious Centre, Monash University

Under the patronage and blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Basilios (Kodseie) of Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.

The Good Shepherd Orthodox Church warmly invites you to this in-person event, which is open to the public, parishioners and students.  It is an open day and a conference wrapped into one.

Join us for the day and experience Orthodox Christian worship in the form of Matins and a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy in the English language, hear internationally-recognised speakers on Orthodox spirituality, meet other explorers, and browse our Orthodox Christian bookshop. A light lunch will be served after the Liturgy (bookings essential) and before the afternoon program.

We are delighted to announce that His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios will be our keynote speaker and that the Very Rev. Dr. Peter Hill (Saints Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Institute, Melbourne) and Associate Professor Philip Kariatlis (St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Theological College, Sydney) will also speak on the Nicene Creed.

We hope to see you there!
