Event description

This interactive workshop invites mental health professionals to explore how reflexive practice can deepen understanding of ND experiences, uncover hidden assumptions, and strengthen therapeutic, teaching, and supervisory relationships.

Together, we’ll examine common micro-aggressions ND people encounter, not to blame, but to build awareness of their impact, and discover ND-affirming reframes that foster connection, inclusion, and psychological safety.

Participants will be guided through reflective exercises designed to transform insight into action, developing practical strategies that support authenticity, reduce masking demands, and promote wellbeing.

You will leave with tools to integrate ND-affirming principles into your daily practice, enhancing your capacity to create safe, empowering environments for clients, colleagues, students, and supervisees.

Ideal for psychologists, counsellors, social workers, supervisors, and educators committed to inclusive, growth-oriented practice.
