Exploring the Four Foundations of Mindfulness Course
Description
This six-week course over six consecutive Mondays offers a guided introduction to one of the Buddha’s most direct and transformative teachings on meditation: the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, drawn from the Satipatthana Sutta. You are encouraged to enrol and commit to the entire course.
Each week we will explore a different foundation—body, feeling tone, and mind—before opening into the wider field of practice, integrating these teachings into everyday life. The final session provides space for reflection, integration, and questions, allowing the learning to settle more deeply.
This course is open to both beginners and experienced meditators. Whether you are new to meditation or looking to deepen an existing practice, you are warmly welcome.
Across the six weeks, we will create a supportive and grounded practice community—an environment of trust, inquiry, and shared exploration.
The fee covers the rent and insurance of the venue. Dana (donations) are gratefully welcomed to support the continuation of events.
I’m very much looking forward to offering this course and practicing together.
