Expressive with Acrylic - 6 week course

Let your imagination run wild exploring colour and abstract design with acrylic.
This is Bayley Arts favourite art class with tutor Naomi Heath who will guide you along the way to learn the required skills and techniques of abstract design through colour, shape, form, and composition. Each class will explore a different technique, so no class is ever the same. All materials are supplied but you are welcome to bring your own painting support. Students will produce a unique artwork at the end of each class during this 6-week course.

WHAT YOU WILL GET
- An understanding of the processes to develop abstract motifs and compositions.
- How to work with colour and how colours function together
- All paper, paint and brushes are included
- Tea and coffee facilities
- An awesome, welcoming and accessible studio space with like-minded people
WHAT TO BRING
- There is the option to bring your own painting support. This can include a canvas board, stretched canvas or canvas pad/acrylic paper pad in a size of your choice. This can be purchased from Officeworks, Art Shed or Melbourne Artists Supplies.
- An apron or art smock
- A free and open mind

This workshop is suitable for persons 16 years and over, people aged under 18 years must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
