EYDN July Peer Network
Event description
Join Enabled Youth Disability Network (EYDN) for an opportunity to have your voice heard by the United Nations!
We will have the UN Australian Youth Representative, Satara Uthayakumaran joining us, to ask some questions and gather ideas and talking points to bring the UN!
This provides a great opportunity to have the voices of young people with disabilities heard, and to share your own thoughts on important topics!
These questions will cover some questions about local areas within South Australia, such as:
What is the biggest challenge young people face in your community?
How does access to education, employment, or health care differ for young people with disabilities, compared to non-disabled peers?
And questions covering topics Australia wide, such as:
How do you think young people are affected by issues such as climate change, gender based violence, or economic inequality?
What role should young people play in leadership and decision making across Australia?
Catering will be provided at this event!
