Join us for an evening of solidarity, talks, live music and delicious food.

This is a chance to hear from Freedom Flotilla Coalition member James Godfrey and learn about their mission to break the illegal siege on Gaza and deliver vital food and medicine.

We’ll also be joined by Surya via livestream who will share updates from his journey and ways you can get involved and help keep him safe.

Also featuring special guests Sue Higginson (State Greens), Jess from Free Palestine Australia, and Subhi Awad from Northern Rivers Friends of Palestine.

With live music from the one and only Tashmeen, a raffle with amazing prizes, and delicious Palestinian food and refreshments — this is an evening not to be missed.

Everyone please follow our local boy, my best friend, and one of the best humans Surya on his incredible journey with the Freedom Flotilla Coalition to deliver 5,500 tonnes of life-saving humanitarian aid to the Indigenous Palestinian people in Gaza.

It shouldn’t be dangerous to bring food to starving people, but we all saw what happened to World Central Kitchen aid workers who were targeted and murdered by the state of Israel for doing just this.

This is why we need to keep our eyes on Surya and his comrades and help keep them safe.
