F*ck ICE: A Protest Party
Description
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
--Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Join us in fighting authoritarianism at Last Place Bar in Hamilton. All proceeds will be split between the American Civil Liberties Union and the Immigrant Defense Project. These organizations do great work keeping authoritarianism in check in both the long term through legal challenges and the immediate term by providing information and resources in real time to communities dealing with ICE. Help us support them by coming to an R-18 drag and burlesque show featuring Haute Dish, Fizzy Pop, and Jorja Masters. The theme is Wild West, with a healthy injection of Chappel Roan, so get out the cowboy hat, your flashiest pink finery, or both! We'll have unique no-ice cocktails, a raffle, and more, so bring a few friends and try to win a voucher for a local business, or make a standalone donation!
Raffle tickets are available bundled with admission tickets, or on the night.
See you on Saturday, March 21st! Admission starts at 8pm, and the show starts at 9.
This event is R-18. Please remember to bring your ID.
