This weekend package is your premium FOOD Week experience. Hosted by local foodies and regional hospitality faves you’ll join a 3-day guided trip from Sydney to Orange enjoying some of the region’s best food and wine experiences. The 2024 FOOD Train will showcase the international influences of Orange's food and wine in a feast of flavour and fun.

Departing Sydney’s Central Station on the Friday, the FOOD Train weekend includes tickets to the renowned FOOD Week's most sought after event, Forage, plus local tours, selected FOOD Week events and dining at some of the region's favourite restaurants.

Your weekend FOOD Train Experience includes.
· Return train ticket in reserved carriage from Sydney to Orange
· Bus transfers b/w events and trains
·   2 Nights accommodation (twin share or single) at Quest Orange
·   Friday visit to historical Millthorpe followed by coach tour to Fourjay Hazlenut Farm

Orange FOOD WEEK is leading the way in Culinary Tourism

What started out as an idea dreamt up by a small group of passionate local foodies three decades ago to showcase the provenance and rich diversity of the Orange region's produce and to celebrate its producers and vignerons, has blossomed into a festival of national standing.

From humble beginnings in 1991, the Orange FOOD (Food Of Orange District) Week festival is now Australia’s longest running regional food and wine festival and delivers a rich tapestry of events held over 10 days each March/April, during our local Autumn harvest and vintage season.

It is a celebration of the region’s abundance, embracing an ethos of sustainable practices and community spirit, and in 2018 became Australia’s first globally ISO 20121-certified food and wine Sustainable Event.

We are committed to championing the provenance of the Orange region’s produce, celebrating our local heroes and positioning the region as one of Australia’s most aspirational culinary tourism destinations – where every week is food and wine week.
