ABOUT F-OFF

The fear of failure holds us back from developing our full potential. It robs the world of new ideas, brilliant innovators and impactful leaders. It can lead to feelings of anxiety, fatigue and isolation.

F-OFF is the Fear of Failure Forum, a movement to say “F-OFF” to our fear of failure. It is a space for people who want to leave an impact on the world; who are moving past fear into aliveness.

ABOUT THIS EVENT

We can slip into fear mode when we have low energy. “Hustle & Grind” culture can drive talented leaders to burnout. We all want to know how we can generate the energy to realise big, bold visions, whilst taking care of our bodies.

The theme for this special F-OFF event is “The Energised Leader”.

As our first event back since 2017 we thought a call-back to the start would be fitting. We ask 3 inaugural speakers to share where they are at now. How have they said “F-OFF” to their fear of failure? What were some wins and lessons? What are their energy levels like and how can we learn from their journey?

We partner with Breathe Me to facilitate our transformative breathing workshop. They harness the breath to dissolve fear, generate energy and inspire connection. We first came across Angie and Shane Saunders of Breathe Me in Bali at the Bali A-Fest transformational summit by Mindvalley in November 2018. Over 300 leaders in the room experienced a state that shows how the breath can be a powerful tool to reclaim your energy.

ABOUT BREATHEME

Being an Energised Leader is all about controlling your body’s energy and using that energy to perform at your peak. We work predominantly with leaders within organisations, helping them to boost their productivity, improve their sleep, memory and focus while creating a business culture of success and well-being.

SPEAKERS

Kat Dunn

Kat created F-OFF after eschewing her law & finance career in 2017. She is now the CEO of Grameen Australia, inspired by Nobel Peace Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus who pioneered ‘social business’. Kat has her private pilot’s licence and loves running, stand-up comedy and empowering humans rich or poor to grow their potential. She coaches leaders on overcoming their fear of failure and connecting profit with purpose.

MJ Fitzpatrick

MJ is a facilitator who works with men to help them kill their inner demons. After dropping out of med school to start his company, MJ has worked with co-founders of billion-dollar unicorns, CEO's, founders of not-for-profits as well as companies like CBA, University of Sydney and Google to help people live a bottom-up life where they are guided by their gut and out of their head. When he is not working he can be found relentlessly annoying his girlfriend.

Julian Kezelman

Julian is an innovation advisor and innovation community builder. His wild and wonderful projects have ranged from redesigning policy for how public land is shared with beekeepers to developing an integrated set of programs and ecosystems to reimagine the future of the built environment. Julian works closely with entrepreneurs, as a mentor, coach, and advisor, and is fascinated by their unrelenting ability to say 'FOFF' to the endless challenges along their venturing journeys.

Shane and Angie Saunders

Shane Saunders spent 13 years in the Australian Defence Force and provided military training at the highest level, working with SAS, tactical support and special forces personnel and experiencing military duty in the Middle East.

Angie Saunders has navigated a number of real-life experiences including long hours in production in the entertainment industry at the highest level, the grief of lost loved ones, childbirth (twice), postnatal depression and building a new life, a new family and a new business in a foreign country.

Both are successful entrepreneurs, property investors, trainers, authors and speakers, for which they give credit to their breathing practices and ‘power habits’.
