Supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental and/or mental health conditions requires unique and individualized supports. This two-day information session will focus on how Functional Assessments (FA’s) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP’s) can assist individuals toward living successfully in the community. Topics of emphasis will include:

• • Regulatory framework(s) guiding the requirements for FA/PBSP’s

• • Gathering history & conducting a Functional Assessment (FA)

• • Turning the FA into an actionable, implementable PBSP

• • Person-centered planning / person-centered writing

• • Functionally relevant replacement behaviors & teaching/training approaches

• • Data collection, analysis, and monitoring
