From Paris to Australia, Fabien Maillot is a multi award winning hairdresser who has worked internationally for events such as Miss France Beauty Pageants, NRJ Music Awards and the Cannes Film Festival. He was a finalist for the 2020 AHIA Awards in the Avant Garde category. Fabien expresses his creativity through his work and has gained extensive knowledge across all areas of hairdressing in his years of experience. As a result he is seen as a hybrid hairdresser, having joined various hair competitions in which he displays his diverse skills in different categories. His knowledge and skills make him unique in the industry and offer a unique perspective to the craft.

In this session Fabien will demonstrate five different patterns for freehand lightening and sectioning plans for consistent and reproducible results as well as four keys to create the perfect balayage including tension, elevation, saturation, texture of the powder lightener mix.

You will acquire simple, fast techniques and patterns of freehand bayalage to paint and create beautiful results in a flash.
