Fabric-Covered Coiled Basket Workshop

Hand-sewn with hemp rope – no experience needed

Join us for a relaxed, hands-on workshop at Wildman Farm and learn how to create your own beautiful fabric-covered coiled basket using natural hemp rope and simple stitching techniques.

This 3-hour creative session is perfect for beginners and anyone looking to slow down, unwind, and enjoy some mindful making in a friendly, rustic setting.

🧺 What’s Included

• 5 metres of rope (with a starter coil already made for you)

• 40 metres of hemp cord (4 x 10m lengths)

• 2 hand-sewing needles

• Step-by-step guidance throughout the session

✂️ What to Bring

• Cotton fabric (scraps, offcuts, or new — it's up to you)

• Fabric scissors

• Tape measure

• Pins

• Enthusiasm and a sense of fun!

Please note: You won’t finish your basket during the session — but you’ll leave with the skills, supplies, and confidence to complete it at home.

Children aged 12 and over are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.
Each attendee, including the accompanying adult, must purchase their own ticket.
