Awaken your radiant self with Face Yoga

Face Yoga is a combination of exercises to awaken sleeping or underused muscles and release stress and tension in the overused muscles. We practice self massage, acupressure points and exercises to accomplish this.

Anya Castellano has earned her Masters Degree in Counseling, is a Registered Kundalini Yoga Teacher and was certified in Face Yoga in 2006, making her a pioneer in teaching this modality in both New Jersey and Manhattan. She was certified by Danielle Collins, the leading export in the UK, but then went on studying other practices and create a blend of exercises that she feels are both simple and effective. The basis of the class is to guide students into bringing more awareness to their face and the faces they wear, releasing stress and tension from their face and surrounding areas, and awakening muscles to help lift and tone the face. Ultimately this practice helps to rejuvenate the face and the whole being. She is a teacher that brings expertise, patience, compassion and humor into the class.
