Facing climate trauma: finding our power (a systemic constellation workshop)

Price £15 GBP Get Tickets

Event description

Are you struggling with anxiety about climate change?

Are you keen to take positive action but uncertain where to start?

Are you seeking a more balanced connection with the natural world?

Originally developed for resolving family relationship issues, systemic constellations can also be used to promote personal growth and resilience as well as to address societal challenges.

In this workshop we will be using the methodology to explore issues related to climate change and climate action. You will be supported to drop down into a different connection with yourself, with others, and with the natural world.

Through the creation of ‘living maps’ of the system, using representatives, the systemic approach allows a soft focus on the larger picture and thereby supports the system to find its natural balance. This is often achieved by acknowledging what is missing, or has been ignored.

There will be an opportunity for a participant to constellate a particular climate issue with which they are struggling. Both bringing an issue and participating as a representative offers insight for all in the group.

This is a pilot event to gauge interest in the application of constellation work to the theme of facing climate trauma. As such, tickets are being offered at the discounted price of £15 per person (usual workshop price £35). Places are limited so you are advised to reserve your spot as soon as possible. A small number of fully supported tickets are also available (contact Steph if the ticket cost is a barrier to access).

Tea, coffee and light snacks will be provided.

Parking available at the venue. Additional free spaces may be available after 6pm on the single yellow lines in The Crescent, a short walk away (check signage to ensure compliance).

Further events are planned for 14th October and 11th November 2024 at the same venue. Contact Steph to be notified when tickets are available.
